- Invest in renters insurance, Ohio! Your landlord’s homeowner’s policy does not protect your belongings! Renters insurance is one of the most important things you can have to protect everything you own.
- Pack things up. Parties can tend to get a little out of control, so pack up items that you don’t want to be damaged. Move your computer, family heirlooms, and breakable items into a bedroom closet or dresser drawer.
- Respect the neighbors. Let your neighbors know you’ll have having a party, but remember that just because you told them you’ll be partying doesn’t mean you can be extremely loud. Try to keep the noise level under control, and wrap up the party soon after midnight.
- Be careful with alcohol. If you’re serving alcohol at your party, be sure to provide options for those that have had too much to drink. Never let a friend drive drunk! Keep numbers for a few cab companies on hand, or blow up air mattresses for people that can’t make it home.
A party is a great way to celebrate New Year’s with friends and family. Before your party, make sure you have renters insurance. Ohio renters know that the right policy can protect their belongings from damage. Happy New Year!
